Aquarius V1.3 data set now available

LEVEL 2 and 3 DATA FOR VERSION V1.3 OF THE AQUARIUS/SAC-D DATA SET NOW AVAILABLE
 
The PO.DAAC would like to announce the availability of Level 2 and 3 data for version 1.3 of the Aquarius/SAC-D data set. The difference between V1.2.3 and V1.3 results from addition of flags that specify which wind data set is used for the roughness correction. Users should note that V1.3 is an interim step and an evaluation dataset.
 
As a general reminder, Aquarius V1.1, V1.2, V1.2DR, V1.2.2, V1.2.3 and V1.3 datasets are to be used for evaluation purposes only. Please note that forward processing of the all versions prior to V1.3 will cease, even though they will continue to be accessible from PO.DAAC. Also, for those that have not used Aquarius data before, you will need to acknowledge a disclaimer and register through: http://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/AquariusDataAccess.
 
Updated user guide documentation for the latest Aquarius dataset release is also available via ftp://saltmarsh.jpl.nasa.gov/docs.
