Aquarius/SAC-D Spacecraft Safehold Event

The PO.DAAC would like to announce that the Aquarius/SAC-D spacecraft was recently in safehold.  The spacecraft returned to science mode operation at 15:58 UTC today.  While the spacecraft continued to return data during the 7 hour safehold, the navigational accuracy  is questionable and will be reflected by appropriate flags in the data.
 

The PO.DAAC will keep users informed of any future developments associated with this event.
