Scheduled MetOp-A Out-of-Plane Maneuver October 5, 2010

An out-of-plane maneuver is scheduled for MetOp-A between 5 October 2010 0700 UTC and 6 October 2010 1100 UTC. Please note that all MetOp-A instrument data from 1150 UTC on 5 October 2010 until 0710 on 6 October 2010 will be severely degraded with respect to geolocation. This is also expected to impact the timeliness and continuity of the near-real-time dissemination of both ASCAT and AVHRR datasets throughout the orbit maneuver.
