All the following software manipulate SIR files.
- C Language Routines
- Convert SIR images to other file types, e.g. bmp, gif. Subdirectory tools/ has more utilities, e.g. diff sir files, apply mask to sir file. Includes a Makefile. Edit include/sir3.h for your operating system.
- Fortran Language Routines
- Convert SIR images to other file types, e.g. byte. Other utilities, e.g. diff sir files, apply mask to sir file. Includes a Makefile. Edit lib/SIR.inc for your operating system.
- Fortran 90 Language Routines
- Read SIR files. Includes a Makefile. Edit lib/SIR.inc for your operating system.
- IDL Routines
- Load SIR images into IDL or PVWAVE, save file, and do forward/inverse transforms in IDL.
- MATLAB Routines
- Load SIR images into matlab, save file, and do forward/inverse transforms in IDL.
- xv_byu Program
- A modified xv program that can read and display SIR images. xv_byu_readme.txt contains directions for building the program.
