Aqurius/SAC-D RFI data

... augment metadata and address any key missing attributes or metadata errors. For the future, fot sure if the provider plans on reprocessing for Aquarius v5.0 (this one is based on v4.0). If so then, we will have them correct this and any other issues As a heads up, if people are reading the ...

What format are the Aquarius salinity data in?

What format are the Aquarius salinity data in and how can they be read into computer memory? Other than the Level 0 Aquarius data which are in binary format, all other Aquarius data products (L1, 2 and 3) are in HDF5 file format (http://www.hdfgroup.org/HDF5/). ...

Thanks for your inquiry to PODAAC regarding the Aquarius-CAP Level 2 data. Unfortunately, these data are only produced and distributed in their native HDF format, not as netCDF. Only the L3 CAP data are available as netCDF from the PODAAC.
