High-Res SST Selection

From your dataset descriptions on the PODAAC website, I don't understand
the difference between these 2 datasets:
MUR-JPL-L4-GLOB-v4.1
JPL-L4UHfnd-GLOB-MUR
I'm looking for high resolution SST data, back in time as long as
possible. I don't know which of the above 2 datasets to select.

Thanks for your inquiry. The JPL-L4UHfnd-GLOB-MUR dataset is old version, but the data provider is still processing the data. MUR-JPL-L4-GLOB-v4.1 is the new version with some algorithm improvement over the old version. I recommend you to use the new dataset MUR-JPL-L4-GLOB-v4.1 for your research.
