User Question:
I am writing this in regards to the suspension of the G1SST Level 4 Dataset that was announced on 2/2/2016. Can you provide me with any further information or update the status of the outage? We have an automated process to download and ingest this dataset into our oceanographic database. Our main concern is getting an estimate of when this dataset may be restored.

The provider has informed us that there are some resource issues with maintaining G1SST. It is not known when production will resume.

May I suggest that you look at this similar 1 km Level SST dataset:
