What types of corrections are included in the wind speed data for the Version 3 and 4 QuikSCAT L2B datasets?
All atmospheric attenuation is accounted and corrected for in the wind retrieval, including the "retrieved_wind_speed" and "wind_speed_uncorrected" variables". The "retrieved_wind_speed" variable includes the additional corrections rain. The "wind_speed_uncorrected" variable does not include corrections for rain.
