Why are there missing GRACE data?
Posted: Mon Apr 07, 2014 12:00 pmThe batteries onboard GRACE have degraded over time so the instrument is turned off when the satellite is in eclipse (in Earth's shadow) and turned back on when in sunlight since the batteries are solar charged.
