Data gaps in AMSR-2 and VIIRS, and missing variables (MODIS)

I am having 2 specific issues:
(1) I want to download all of 2019 AMSR-2 and VIIRS L2 datasets. And it looks like it works fine. But I found out after that there is no data from ~ Aug 23-Oct 5, and after Oct 21 for these two datasets. But it looks like there should be, as I see these days available through FTP.
(2) I downloaded MODIS A and T, for the entire 2019 period so far, and it worked well with no obvious data gaps. However, inside the subsetted netCDF files there is only lat/lon/time/dsst_time, and even though I clicked I wanted flags so I could perform QC (remove land, clouds, etc.), these variables were not included. I re-downloaded but still no luck.
Aside from this, HiTIDE is amazing thanks!
P.s. Just to note for all datasets I have subsetted to region: -150,20,-110,50
