Site not reachable while trying to extract a granule

Site not reachable while trying to extract a granule

Postby omkarr » Sun Jul 31, 2016 11:42 pm

Hi,

I was trying to use the web service extract granule from a python script, I used the datasetIds and shortNames mentioned in the extract granule web services page. When I try to extract the granule in the example in the page I was able to download the ascat_20130719_230600_metopa_35024_eps_o_250_2200_ovw.l2.nc granule successfully, but when I try to extract a granule with any other dataset like the follows for example

datasetId : PODAAC-ASOP2-12C01
shortName : ASCATA-L2-Coastal
granule Name : ascat_20160801_002400_metopa_50766_eps_o_coa_2401_ovw.l2.nc
bbox : 45,0,180,90

I got an error raised in the script and when I checked it in the browser I got a "site can't be reached" page, this happened with various other datasets.

Please help me out.

Thanks,
Omkar.

Hi,

The glitch seems to persist still. Can you please take a look at my query once again??

Thanks,
Omkar.

Hi Omkar,

Our data engineers will review your query to confirm its validity.

There was a short delay in processing the new files which has been corrected now.

The extract URL has been verified and is returning the extract file:
http://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/ws/extract/g ... mat=netcdf

Please try your data request again and let us know if you notice the same problem.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
