Hello im a new user here. Im final year student and kinda still learing how to analyze oceanographic data. So i have a question related to this.

in this first image,

There is sea current near Gulf of Ciletuh on that image, as you can see the sea current moves outward from the gulf dated May 2019

but in this second image,

The current moves outward from the gulf, dated May 2021.

What changes the sea current from outward in 2019 to outward in 2021? The facts is, prior to 2021, all sea current in yearly images show that sea current moves outward from the gulf. Why sudden changes?
