I am looking for dataset on the depth of the ocean of South China Sea. Could you help me with that please? Much appreciated.

ETOPO2v2 is a relatively old data set.

A more recent and higher resolution data set incorporating observations from recent satellite missions is SRTM30_PLUS described by Sandwell at al. (2014) but subsequently updated.
