The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the public release of the JPL MEaSUREs Gridded Sea Surface Height Anomalies Level 4 Version 1812 datasets. There are 2 datasets, an interim dataset that has an optimal delay of 4 weeks, and reference dataset that is delayed approximately 2-3 months, with better orbit corrections so that the Sea Surface Height Anomalies are more accurate. The anomalies are measured from 2 altimetric satellites and then gridded using the kriging method. More information regarding MEaSUREs is available from....

Hello,

Has the interim product been deprecated, or is there otherwise an issue with the interim product's server?

The server at https://podaac-tools.jpl.nasa.gov/drive/files/allData/merged_alt/L4/cdr_grid_interim appears to be down.

Thanks,
Mike Croteau

Thank you for your inquiry.

Please access data from:
https://podaac-tools.jpl.nasa.gov/drive ... 4/cdr_grid

There is a bit longer of a lag, but the quality is much better. The interim product is having some issues so it is currently been moved offline. The regular CDR product is not experiencing those issues.
