Archived ocean current data. OSCAR or other?

I am looking for archived ocean current data for the Galapagos archipelago for specific dates (and ideally times) dating back to 2016.

I am after as high a resolution as possible and ideally down to 30m depth.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

You may want to try the OSCAR third degree resolution ocean surface currents dataset, but please note that doesn’t go down to 30m.

On that page will be a “data access” tab, which will take you directly to the data and other provided links and tools.

For visualization over the entire available data period or for interactive sub-setting of data you can use the following LAS tool: http://podaac.jpl.nasa.gov/las

The Live Access Server (LAS) enables you to: visualize data with on-the-fly graphics; request custom subsets of variables in a choice of file formats; access background reference material about the data (metadata); compare (difference) variables from distributed locations.
