USACE dredge boater requesting guidance on how to best utilize Earthdata to view recent imagery regarding shallow water shoaling, specifically Oregon Inlet.

We suggest using the Worldview Tool. https://earthdata.nasa.gov/worldview

Below are some examples over the area of interest, using the Corrected Reflectance (True Color) data from MODIS and VIIRS.

• Aqua/MODIS: https://go.nasa.gov/3qPlctO
• Suomi NPP / VIIRS: https://go.nasa.gov/37DFSNW
• N20/VIIRS: https://go.nasa.gov/3qLq1o1

Please note that MODIS only sees the surface during cloud-free weather.
