The S-NPP satellite mission has been recovered from the recent disruption that occurred from July 26, 2022 to August 10, 2022.

All NOAA VIIRS SST data distributions have been restored and are back to normal. The science quality of the VIIRS SST datasets have been validated and will be backfilled to August 11, 2022. Data from July 26 to August 10 remain missing.

NAVO VIIRS products are similar with a known gap between July 26 to August 10.

The status of VIIRS SST from NASA (OBPG/JPL) is still being assessed.
