On Jan 11, 2023 The Remote Sensing System (RSS) stopped producing and delivering both the AMSR2-REMSS-L2P-v8a (10.5067/GHAM2-2PR8A) and AMSR2-REMSS-L3U-v8a (10.5067/GHAM2-3UR8A) datasets, which are currently distributed through the NASA Earthdata Cloud. 

In the next few weeks, the updated AMSR2 L2P v8.2 datasets will be released directly from the NASA Earthdata Cloud. Users will be notified with a release announcement when the datasets are available. In the meantime, the new AMSR2 L2P data are available on PO.DAAC Drive for a limited time. Users can access them with the legacy Drive link.
