The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the public release of the GHRSST Level-3U AMSR2 SST v8.2 datasets from Remote Sensing Systems.
This release includes both Near Real Time (RT) and Final AMSR2 L3U SST v8.2 datasets, which supersede the existing AMSR2 L3U v8a datasets (DOI: 10.5067/GHAM2-3TR8A and 10.5067/GHAM2-3UR8A).
The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the public release of the ISS-RapidScat Sigma-0 L1B and L2A Version 2.0 datasets, which provide backscatter cross-section (sigma-0) measurements from the RapidScat instrument flown aboard the International Space Station (ISS) from 2014 to 2016. The L1B data were used to derive surface wind vectors provided in the corresponding L2B products (e.g. https://doi.org/10.5067/RSX12-L2C20).

NOAA GHRSST Level 2P Indian Ocean Regional Skin Sea Surface Temperature v1.0
This is a FINAL REMINDER for all PO.DAAC users to complete the transition of their legacy data access scripts and methods for compatibility with cloud data access endpoints at their earliest convenience, as PO.DAAC Drive and the legacy data access tools and services (specifically LAS, CWS, THREDDS) will retire on April 24, 2023.
To ensure a successful transition for all PO.DAAC users, the PO.DAAC in the CLOUD Forum can be used as the primary entry point to help address technical issues and concerns.
The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the release of the OPERA Dynamic Surface Water Extent from Harmonized Landsat Sentinel-2 provisional product (Version 1) Dataset. The input dataset for generating each product is the Harmonized Landsat-8 and Sentinel-2A/B (HLS) product version 2.0. HLS products provide surface reflectance (SR) data from the Operational Land Imager (OLI) aboard the Landsat 8 satellite and the MultiSpectral Instrument (MSI) aboard the Sentinel-2A/B satellite.
The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the public release of the GHRSST Level-2P NOAA MSG01/02/04 Sea Surface Temperature (SST) v1.0 datasets.
This release comprises three L2P SST v1.0 datasets derived from the Spinning Enhanced Visible and Infrared Imager (SEVIRI) sensor on Meteosat Second Generation (MSG) Satellites -1, -2, and -4 by the NOAA Office of Satellite and Product Operations (OSPO).
The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the availability of the PI-produced Multi-Mission Optimally Interpolated Sea Surface Salinity (OISSS) 7-Day and Monthly Level-4 V2.0 datasets based on the AQUARIUS/SAC-D, SMAP and SMOS level-2 mission data gridded on a 0.25 degree spatial grid. An optimal interpolation is applied to each mission dataset to create a gap free gridded product.
