IPRC/SOEST Optimally Interpolated Sea Surface Salinity (OISSS) Aquarius V5.0 Dataset Released

PO.DAAC announced the availability of the Level 4 optimally interpolated, 0.5 degree, near-global, 7-day sea surface salinity (OISSS) product for version 5.0 of the Aquarius/SAC-D dataset.  OISSS is a principal investigator produced dataset developed at the International Pacific Research Center (IPRC) of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST).  The optimal interpolation (OI) mapping procedure used to create this product corrects for systematic spatial biases in

The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the public release of the GRACE Level-1/Level-2 Release-06 (RL06) datasets from the University of Texas Center of Space Research (CSR) and the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL).  The RL06 has made several significant improvements and updates from the current RL05, including updated background force models and improved parameterizations.

Aquarius Ancillary Celestial Sky Microwave Emission Map Dataset Released

The PO.DAAC is pleased to announce the availability of the Aquarius celestial sky microwave emission map ancillary dataset from GSFC.  This product contains three maps of L-band (wavelength = 21 cm) brightness temperature of the celestial sky used in the processing of the NASA Aquarius instrument data.
