Description: Ocean surface wind speed over the globe on 1 January 2014 as measured by ASCAT on MetOp-A using the Climate Data Record (CDR) version 1 12.5-km dataset produced by the at the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI) with funding through the Ocean and Sea Ice Satellite Applications Facility (OSI SAF) and the European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT).
